Scroll 2.2 Released
Scroll just got better! Scroll 2.2 has some pretty large improvements, most notably, much better blogging support. Listed below are the changes with this release.
- Better blogging support – To use this, just setup 2 blank pages in your WordPress admin, blog and front. Then, go to Settings > Reading and set your site up to use a static page. Choose Blog as you blog page and front as your front page. The front will remain the same as before, but now you will be able to add your Blog page to the menu, Appearance > Menus.
- Added support to deactivate links to subsequent pages – I had feedback from some who did not want the scrolling slideshows to link to inside pages. I added an option to deactivate these links for the galleries.
- Moved the auto slide button into the CSS – To make it easier for those wanting to customize that image.
- Minor Bug fixes
What’s next? Scroll is still slated to receive a full responsive layout, so stay tuned.
